Hello, my name is Claire Coleman, and I turn travel memories into art that takes you around the world from home.

From my home in New York City, I create illustrated scenes of places I've visited using a combination of gouache, watercolor, and pen.

 

The way I see the world, there is as much beauty in the textures of old roof tiles or the way two different colored buildings look next to each other as there is in a breathtaking landscape or historic monument.

 

My paintings take you with me as I capture moments from my travels and show you the world through my eyes: finding beauty around every corner.
