#TravelTuesdays Giverny, France

This week, we’re going to take a little day trip outside of Paris to the Giverny, the home of Claude Monet!

After a little over an hour on the train, you can get away from the bustling city, and step into the living impressionist painting that is Monet’s gardens in Giverny. When I tell you this is my absolute dream house, trust me, I’m not exaggerating. The vines of ivy trimming the peach and green painted house, the weeping willows draping over the lily-pad filled pond, and the grounds blooming with every type of flower imaginable; every inch of this garden validates its legacy as the perfect source of inspiration for one of the world's most famous painters.

There’s something truly magical about being in a place that’s inspired so much art. If you’re an artist like me, your visit to Giverny will stay inside you long after you’ve returned home, pushing on the part of your soul that calls you to create. If you’re ever in Paris, I can’t recommend enough taking a day to explore Giverny. If my testimonial wasn’t enough, I’ll let the pictures below speak for themselves.
